Why Kaws ?

In the space of 15 years, Kaws has become one of the world's best-known contemporary artists. He is particularly popular in the USA (he is originally from Brooklyn and lives in New York), Europe and Asia.

Influential New York art dealers and leading galleries often compare him to Andy Warhol!

Today, a numbered edition of Kaws, for example 8 copies, 1.5 to 2m high, will sell for between $500,000 and $1 million. His small vinyl sculptures, generally produced in editions of 500, are therefore a good way to enter his world, at lower cost. Most sell for between €1,000 and €2,500, while the rarest editions can top €10,000. They are also excellent investments, increasing in value by around 10-15% a year.

However, you need to be extremely careful about fakes!
There are plenty of them, especially on the Internet and at auctions.
